Super Universal Turrican Soldier
1So it looks like Universal Soldier just went and ripped off Turrican (1990) from the Commodore 64, but then a year later we got a legit Super Turrican which is sooooooo much better.
There's also a Turrican II for the Amiga (1991), a Mega Turrican for the Mega Drive/Genesis, Super Turrican for the NES (1992), and then Super Turrican for the SNES of course in 1993.
There was going to be a Turrican 3D that THQ was working on for Windows and the Dreamcast but it was cancelled.
Thornado is a spin off that was going to be on the N64 and Gamecube but then it was cancelled. However some assets were used in Star Wars: Rebel Strike.
Next-Gen Turrican was going to be a thing but sadly Factor 5 who had worked on all of these games shut down in 2007.
Chris Huelsbeck is still making some music though and it's damned good as you can hear.
Oh yeah, Universal Solider is trash.
