SUPERFROG (AMIGA - FULL GAME)
187Zeus presents Superfrog (un-emulated) for the Amiga A500, a true classic from the golden era of amiga gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1993
What a fun game, very enjoyable indeed, starts off with a great comical intro, followed by good title music and then a wonderful game.
The idea is to defeat the evil witch at the end and to do that you must collect the amount of coins needed to open the exit to the next stage (coins displayed at bottom-right of screen) while avoiding or squashing the baddies, you also have a little side-kick character that you can fire at the baddies with.
Other special icons include a speed pill and wing which enable you to hover while jumping.
What i also love about this game is that there are tons of secret tunnels and chambers to find making the game even bigger than it looks to begin with, this really is the sonic of the amiga.
My only drawback with the game is even if you know exactly where to go, it will still take well over 2hrs to complete! I lost my way a few times which is why this upload ended up being half hour longer than it should have, oh well it has been 15yrs since i last played this game so i can be forgiven.
This topped off with a rip off of Project -X called Project-F (2:20:15) bonus level and a funny end sequence makes this a great game from Team 17, well worth a play.
I have used the infinite lives and time trainer along with the use of the invincibilty trainer now and then to get past the very hard bits so i could upload this in full for your viewing pleasure.
