I’m a little bit late to the Metahuman game, but I thought I’d try out something a bit different…

Here’s some realtime heat-vision VFX tests with a Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) Metahuman, both with the traditional red/orange beams and the blue Arrowverse variations. Trying to go for some realistic graphics here, both for game and cinematic usage.

This is was a single Niagara particle system with six different GPU sprite emitters along with a point light for the core glow. Lumen was used for global illumination and reflections, while shadows were RTX.

(Also forgive the facial animations, or lack therof - still trying to get a hang of Metahuman control rig!)
