DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Part 25 of “Old Features Call of Duty hasn’t had in Years”. Today’s feature is Supply Drops. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (2014) was the first COD game to have supply drops, and they started out as cosmetic-only supply drops that could only be earned by playing the game. But it didn’t take long for the supply drops to be sold in the store and contain legendary variants of weapons that were considered to be P2W. Black Ops 3 took this a step further by having supply drop exclusive ranged weapons and melee weapons in supply drops. But things got better with Infinite Warfare, giving players more opportunities to earn supply drops for free and using salvage to craft the things they wanted. Sadly, supply drops stopped being put in main Call of Duty games when Modern Warfare 2019 came out, but some COD players want them to return.
