34Unchained Melody Ukulele Cover - The Righteous Brothers (Marc Peterson). Another ukulele cover and another classic, but this time a powerful and kind of sad love song.
I have to say that this is the hardest song I have sung so far, especially the note at 2:16 which was very difficult to reach, I'm glad I could do it.
This song has always touched me since the first time I heard it on the radio and of course in the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. I always dreamed of becoming a singer but I never dared to sing in front of people because I was afraid of being laughed at, I thought I had no talent. I also always dreamed to sing this song which made me feel a strong emotion every time I listened to it. It is certainly the combination of all these emotions that made me burst into tears after recording and editing the video and watching the result.
It was intense, a mixture of happiness and pride and the feeling of doing something I like and being happy that I finally dared to show my soul and simply who I am after all these years.
I hope you enjoy this cover as much as I enjoyed recording it.
