Surviving the second Tyrant encounter without bringing any weapons
2Hello, I wanted this to be something of a new beginning for my channel. As such, I wanted to begin with something that is special to me - in videogame-playing terms, that is.
I thought it would be good to begin with the end... The end of RESIDENT EVIL DIRECTOR'S CUT, that is! Resident Evil is my favourite game of all time, and so I wanted the first of my new videos to be something to do with Resident Evil. The subject of defeating the end boss of the game seemed like as good a way to begin as any...
So, you fired away the last of your good ammunition into the Tyrant as he stomped after you in the laboratory. Having downed him you made good your escape and staggered onto the helipad - adrenalin and fatigue fighting for dominance over you - only to be confronted by the clawed monstrosity for a second time!
Well, all is not lost, since it is perfectly possible to defeat the Tyrant on the helipad without bringing along any weapons with you whatsoever! All you need to do is dose up on as many herbs or first aid sprays as possible. When you open an item box for the last time, fill every inventory slot you can with healing items. Remember to leave one slot free to pick up first the battery and then the flare. Once you are on the helipad and have set off the flare, all you have to do is keep away from the Tyrant long enough for help to arrive...
When help finally does arrive, it should be fairly obvious what you need to do!
Sorry about the bad quality of this video, but I don't have a capture device or any other equipment of that nature. Still, I hope somebody will still find the video useful, or at least enjoy it to some degree.
