Corrections: Zoom toggle is a completely personal choice. I have had feedback from some of the top shooters in the game, some claiming they like it on, some playing with it off. So try both, pick the way you prefer!

Also community consensus seems to be to keep mouse acceleration off. That is the way I use it, but most people are reporting that is a must.

I personally use this Logitech G440. It is a hard mouse pad, it takes some getting used to if you are coming from soft. But ultimately I find it allows me greater precision.
