In this video we going to demonstrate how to install Suse Enterprise Linux in VirtualBox 5.2. For this I have downloaded 2 DVD iso files (SLE-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-GM-DVD1 and SLE-15-Packages-x86_64-GM-DVD1) from Suse Linux website.
These iso files are used for installation shown in this video. So I will be creating two IDE Controller (2 DVD ROMS in Virtual Box). One is Primary Master and other is Primary Slave. I will be assigning bootable DVD SLE-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-GM-DVD1.iso to Primary Master and other Package DVD to Primary Slave. "Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop" option is selected and Modules are selected accordingly for this Suse Enterprise Desktop.
Suse Enterprise Linux 15 features are:
1. Unified installer.
2. Installation without network using Packages media.
3. Migration from openSUSE Leap to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.
4. Extended package search.
5. Software Development Kit is now integrated into the products.
6. RMT (Repository Mirroring Tool) replaces SMT (Subscription Management Tool).
7. SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 can be managed via salt to help integration into up-to-date management solutions, such as SUSE Manager.
8. SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 GA offers full support for Python 3 development in addition to Python 2.
9. 389 Directory Server replaces OpenLDAP.
