Suspense in Signal Simulator
74At it's core, horror is driven by a multitude of factors. However, none are quite as prominent yet overlooked as suspense. Without suspense, there is no buildup. Without a buildup, any (jump)scare is likely to miss the mark. Suspense is not limited to the horror genre alone. This is the case for Signal Simulator, a title where scanning for signals from outer space is the primary goal. At least, that's what we're presented.
