Minister for Information & Broadcasting Shri Prakash Javadekar today administered the pledge of the Swachh Bharat Mission along with the senior officials and staff of the Ministry. Shri Prasoon Joshi, eminent lyricist and writer, Shri Kailash Kher eminent singer and Shri Vishal Khurana eminent Music Director also participated in the pledge ceremony.

Shri Javadekar on the occasion released the audio track “Swachh Bharat ka Irada Kar liya hum ne” composed by Shri Prasoon Joshi. The song specially prepared for the Swachh Bharat Mission was composed in very short span of time. A section of the track was shown at the India Gate Ceremony graced by hon’ble Prime Minister earlier this morning. A special song composed by Song & Drama division on Swachh Bharat Mission was also performed live during the pledge taking ceremony.

The Minister along with senior officials took part in the cleaning drive in the premises of Shastri Bhawan. Shri Prasoon Joshi, Shri Kailash Kher and Shri Shri Vishal Khurana also took part in the cleaning drive.
