Swarm Grinder | NEW - Engaging roguelite that brings something new to the auto-shooter genre! @ 2K
25Swarm Grinder is a super cool action rogue-lite game with pixel art graphics in development. It has a whole lot going for it that sets it apart from the herd of auto-shooter action roguelike games. The pixel art is great, the animations and damage numbers do a decent job of indicating the carnage ensuing on screen. The great tie between the mission objective and enemy encounter by popping cells adds a great dynamic to the game I haven't seen before. The more you move around the more enemies you encounter, but you need to encounter enemies to get fuel or else you will run out and start taking damage. You also need to move around to call in the drilling station. I have definitely felt an adrenaline rush whenever I am surrounded by enemies and keep having to pop more of them around me to get away from them. Great game-play loop. Swarm Grinder is in early access so there is still plenty more to look forward to, but as it is, the game is fun. Really makes you feel like a Swarm Grinder. Very fun game. Go Grind the Swarm.
