Sweeping the deck | Pokémon Fire Red Randomiser Nuzlocke | Part 8
2Time to make a plan while in Vermilion City:
1. Catch some more 'Randomised' Pokémon to try and add to the team
2. Board the SS. Anne - 'Sweep the deck' of all the trainers on board
3. Heard that 'Gary' has boarded... Let's beat his butt again
4. Also heard that there's a captain on the ship that knows a move which lets you 'Cut' trees.
If you're unaware of what the rules of a nuzlocke are, read below:
1 - You can only catch the 1st Pokémon that you encounter in the area; if it flees or you make it faint, that's your encounter for the area
2 - Any Pokémon that faints is classified as "dead" and can be either released or stored in a PC box
3 - Pokémon that are caught must be named
OPTIONAL RULES:
1) Species Clause - Multiple Pokémon of the same species cannot be caught, it grants you an additional encounter e.g. You catch a Pidgey in Route 1, you can't catch Pidgeotto in Route 3 so you're allowed to have another encounter instead.
2) Shiny Clause - If at any point throughout this adventure I encounter a shiny Pokémon (one of a different colour), I can attempt to catch regardless if it isn't my 1st encounter in the area.
