5From coal mines to cough-inducing arenas, Adrian Street was a pioneer in flamboyant wrestling characters, who was completely ahead of the curve and helped influence Adrian Adonis , Goldust, Rico, and many others, while in many ways embodied the 1970's glam rock era. Not only that; he broke the mould, and maybe even stigma too of having Welsh wrestlers in the wrestling business, with having an strong reputation of being a scrappy little fighter, who took no messing, despite his campy demeanour, and outrageous costumes. My favourite story is him knocking the snot out of that BBC certified creep Jimmy Savile in a few rounds of British wrestling. He sadly passed away on July 24th. R.I.P
