13The Tale of Sweet Revenge is set upon the back drop of a 1950s movie theater run by the local family.
On the surface nothing was out of the ordinary; the smell of fresh popcorn, the sound of candy boxes being stocked, Giant hay bails, and Jack O lanterns, everything you could ask for in a Halloween weekend.
But then, one night 2 patrons remained seated long after the movie ended. Upon closer look, the Owners son noticed the patrons were not just any movie goers, thats right it was his Parents!
Enraged the boy screamed only to find out his parents were no longer with us. Three years later, the theater still operates but the glow of the marque is not QUITE the same. Showings have been
cut to 1 a day and the smell of fresh pop corn has been replaced with despair and anguish. In an effort to save the theater, the boy and his friend start experimenting with new candy recipes in an
effort to bring the people back. While searching the kitchen cabinets, they come across a odd looking bottle labeled; P O I S O N.
WHY, the boy cried out, Why, would someone poison his parents. In an effort to comfort the boy, his friend suggested what if THAT was our Secret Ingredient. What better way to get back at the people who did this..
Within a few weeks, sales took off, and each weekend, patrons would rush to the theater, sometimes just for the Candy.
However, as weeks went buy, the number of people returning dwindle, families of 3 soon became 2, and then the Local Newspaper got wind of what was happenings and the boy and his friend were forced to flee.
Years have passed and the desolate theater remains, until one year where the newly elected mayor strikes a business partnership with a candy company a few towns over with Major Sweet and Mrs. Treats......
What could go wrong...
