We never fail to be inspired by the amazing things that people do with Novatech computers, but last thursday's one-off Intel event 'Triptych' by Hellicar & Lewis was truly something else. Powered in part by one of our Intel Core i7 Ultrabooks, the installation piece was an interactive artwork, that allowed the viewer to manipulate swirling schools of coloured data and sound, with their own gestures and movements; the colours, shapes and intensities growing and fading in rhythm with the participant. It was part Matrix, part Minority Report and part Magic Roundabout.
