Switch Starlink: Battle for Atlas DDE G16, 1P gameplay, Learning turning Refineries & Observatories.
I picked up the one more canister (Judge) before I'm alerted that I have to progress in the main Campaign. That update helped me understand story structure. Vid timeline:
(0:00) St. Grand's Secrets. Locate the final canister.
I see how Judge and Dr. Grant met, and what propelled the latter to initiate the Equinox series.
Dr. Hespera Thorn is someone who Grant meet while helping Judge. He didn't decided to stay with her however, to pursue what the Swarm within Judge's races means.
(6:40) Prospector Mission. Stand Your Ground: Destroy the Outlaw Rogue.
Activating Kirite's Rockside Refinary.
For this video, I decided to stick around and understand how to make more Refineries and Observatories contribute to the main mission at hand.
I understand now that Karl's Observatory and Eli's Refinery story base activations served as practice to know how to activate more of those types of buildings later on.
In the case of Kirite's Rockside Refinary, I was required to eliminate some Outlaw units that was been harassing the place for some time. Once eliminated, the Refinary changes to yellow status, and mutual cooperation can begin there after.
(12:12) Expedition Mission. Gotta Scan 'Em All: Pick up the Analyzer, Use the Analyzer: Razorbeak to scan Razorbeak Scanned 0 of 3, Return the Analyzer: Razorbeak to Desert Observatory Scanned 3 of 3.
Activating Kirite's Desert Observatory.
In this case, the alien in charge tasked me to take an advanced Analyser with me and use it on at least 3 Razorbeaks. This so it would help him clear misconceptions the locals have regarding that local species.
Of course, completing such tasks rewards the player additional mods.
(23:46) The Eye of Kirite.
A site of Warden significance, and close proximity of the Observatory I just activated. I zoom in to investigate... where I'm meet with some serious opposition!
