A high score run of the Classic Score Attack mode with the aim to get as high of a score as possible on the PAL version of the mode.
So also in the newest 2.0.0 update of the game came with the option to do Classic Score Attack as one of the Effect modes to play. You can play with either the NTSC game speed (which is what Classic Score Attack uses in Multiplayer mode) or the PAL game speed. The game keeps track of high scores for both versions of the mode.
A very solid score here, not quite enough to beat my NTSC high score. Levels 9-18 feel slower since the PAL version of NES Tetris runs at 50 FPS as opposed to the NTSC version running at 60 FPS. However at level 19 on PAL, the pieces fall at 1 row every frame as opposed to NTSC level 19 where pieces fall 1 row every 2 frames. Both speeds are still very fast to play with and still feel less playable than on original NES hardware. Enjoy!
