This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Famicom Disk System game Kalin no Tsurugi (Sword of Kalin).

There are two times I grind. Those times are:

7:19 - 25:05
45:49 - 57:28

During those times I am grinding for gold to buy EQ. One thing I should note though is that there is a key item you can't get until you are level 30, so there really was no avoiding grinding in this video, I'm sorry to say. I could have sat around and got myself to 30 before heading off to Len, but that would have taken too much time. I would have been better off, sure, but I try not to grind in my RPG videos if I can help it.

I wasn't planning on doing this game for some time, but ThePatrickinator here at YouTube requested that I do it, so I decided to do it now. Years ago I put together a little musical slideshow showing pictures of the game with music from it as well, but I think people would prefer to see this instead. :P

There are a few close calls, and while I would have preferred to level up a bit more here and there, I'm happy with how it turned out. The last time I played this, I think I ended the game at around level 51...Obviously I did much better this time... :P
