Well, at least I got SOME sort of weapon. Kinda cool-looking too. But... can't I just have a good gun? :o

Btw, I think I didn't have to fight that adaptoid - I heard somewhere that they only attack you if:
1) You attack them
2) You try walking "into" them
3) You try "activating" them (press space bar when facing an adaptoid)
But it is possible to just walk past them... or so some people claim
