In this chapter, Leni Renner brings to life her recollections of Dana's stay at the Silberspiegel in the summer of 1937, as we see her serving drinks to a group of scientists engaged in alpinistic training, preparing for an ambitious expedition whose goal is to locate the Abominable Snowman himself. The only problem is that the expedition is being financed by the fascist party of the Brown Shadow, with an overseer staying at the resort as well, and Dana does everything in her power to convince the handsome Leon, the scientists' trainer, to withdraw his support from the group. Leni, however, refuses to share any information on what followed those events, forcing Kate to do some information-gathering on her own around the old lodge...
