I use a syma x5c and add another main board and 4 motors to make a syma octo copter, A syma hex would not be to hard I believe.
In the first couple of mins I show how I added a prop to the rear of the syma x5c to act as A turbo. I hard wired it and did no modification to the software yet,It was just A idea to give you a quick boost during a fpv race.

I did make a complete step by step but I edited it all out to make the video smaller. When the weather is better I will take it out and post a video of it flying outside and post how much it can lift at half throttle ect..
