Hey everyone, Eezore here, and in this video i show you where to find both the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring as well as the Symbol of Avarice helm in Dark Souls. Now these both increase drop rate, but they CANNOT be added together. Meaning that you can have the benefit of one or the other. You CAN stack it with the 10 humanity drop rate increase for a total of 410 item find chance. This is huge, especially when grinding for certain items or humanity.

The Gold Ring is in Sen's Fortress, and needs to be unlocked to acquire. When you get to the mechanism to move the stone balls down different paths, make sure they are rolling towards the west path. This path is in the direction of the stairs that go up, and the area that you need to go to continue with the dungeon. After about 5 to 6 balls go in this direction, change it to another one then follow the path the were just going( THe west path). At the end, you'll notice that the balls have stacked up and broken down a wall that will lead to the ring.

Now for the symbol of Avarice, it's techincally a rare drop from mimics. However, there are only so many in the game, one in Sen's Fortress, four in Anor Londo, and two in the Duke's Archives. When you kill the last one, no matter where it is, it will drop a symbol of avarice. Let me know if you want a video showing where the locations are for the mimics.
