Hey everyone, Eezore here, and in this video I'm covering the tail weapons for the achievement Knight's Honor for the game Dark Souls. First things first, there is ALOT to this achievement. I'm going to making three parts for it, and this is the part covering the Tail weapons. The next two will cover boss weapons, coven weapons, and Rare drop/loot weapons, so stay tuned for those!
These tails are not to bad overall, with two exceptions. All you ultimately need to do is attack the tail of certain bosses for them to "drop" their tail weapon. It actually cuts off the tail and it can't be damaged or do attacks anymore. Kind of cool when you think about it!
The One big one to note is the Drake Sword. You can get this right away and can really change the way you play early on. When you get to the bridge to actually go to the undead parish, you can see the drake over the top of it. When you are underneath the bridge, if you take out your bow, you can shoot the tail off the get the weapon. This takes a bit of time and arrows, but makes your first bit of the game MUCH easier. just keep shooting to get it.
The Gargoyle you fight on top of the church drops one, and can be obtain in one or two hits. very easy.
The Gaping dragon in the depths is annoying, because he will move and attack with the tail, but is easy enough to make fall off.
Priscalla in the Painted world area drops one, and she is a bit tricky. Biggest thing is to get one to two hits right off the bat before she becomes invisible. After that you need to watch the footprints in the snow to find her. Just be careful because you can kill her pretty easy, so just watch the damage.
The dragon you can join the coven with in the Ash Lake drops one, and is really easy. It doesn't fight back so just hit it a few times to grab it.
Seath the Scaleless drops one and it's super annoying to get. He is huge so it takes a bit to run around him, but you can destroy the crystal that gives him invulnerability and you'll get in a few hits. Big thing is to make it so his tail is facing the crystal when you destroy it so you get a few more hits in. Only really one attack he does makes it so you can run and hit the tail. Just have patience, and keep at it.
