It automatically triggers upon a rapid drop to low health, activating Last Stand and restoring 1,500 health while briefly placing your character inside a protective force field bubble. In my experience, it then takes about 15 seconds before becoming available to auto-trigger again.

A must-have item, especially if you like to turn on more of Synthetik 2's difficulty modifiers for a more challenging experience, and it's also especially helpful on the tougher "Loop levels" you encounter after completing a run.
