System Shock 2 was released in 1999 as a sequel to the original System Shock, which told the story of a rogue AI turning on her creators. SHODAN lives on for System Shock 2, and now, I take a look at the title.

SS2 is known to be a landmark in PC gaming, both from the prospective of story-telling, and the various elements of gameplay. The title is also thought to be one of the most terrifying gaming experiences out there.

Despite its cult following, it didn't sell well upon its launch. The title hasn't received an 'official' sequel, with the Bioshock series being more a spiritual successor.

I give you an hour or so gameplay from fairly early on in the game, so as to not spoil the story, but to give you a good idea of how the game functions.

I'm running 2 mods, one for improved graphics, another System Shock 2 rebirth to improve the models.
