The new dev kit that has surfaced and there are a number of interesting features, including 8GB of RAM and 2GB of dedicated graphics memory. DVKT-KS000K—as of January 2013.

Despite the fact that some of the details (such as 2 Ethernet connections and only a 160GB hard drive) are clearly exclusive to the dev kits, the Playstation 4 Orbis is looking to be an impressive piece of kit. Whether or not we'll be seeing the full unit with the 8GB of RAM or the 4GB of GDDR5 that was previously reported is still unknown.
Either way, the console is shaping up to be extremely impressive.
As for the controller, it seems things are changing - despite the fact that the system was originally rumoured to use biometric feedback, it seems this isn't true (at least for now) and instead uses a re-designed controller based upon a similar design to the previous dual shocks. It seems the PS4 version includes a multi touch pad at the rear of the controller, and other features, such as a share button....
