T3 Rock Throw/Fly Bombirdier Solo Raid, Cloudy Weather, Shadow Magnezone Only no relobby
Another T3 1v1 Solo featuring the raid exclusive Pokemon in Paldea region - Bombirdier.
Bombirdier is one of the very few Pokemon learns Fly prior to the latest Timeless Travels season update. Fly is a 2-bar charged move with 80 base power and 1.8 seconds animation time, in which it is an excellent charged moves. Fly as a HM move in main series game also allowed most Flying-type Pokemon to learn it in those titles. Unfortunately, the move was only available to a very few selection of Pokemons until now, with some of those not even being a Flying type like Pikachu and Drampa.
With the start of Timeless Travels, Delibird, Staraptor, Braviary, Talonflame and Vikavolt can now also learn this move. Staraptor and Braviary has the highest attack stats among the Flying-type Pokemon listed here. However, Braviary only learns Air Slash as its Flying-type fast move, which is pretty underwhelming. In the other hand, with access to Shadow Form and the better Flying-type fast moves - Wing Attack and Gust, Shadow Staraptor can now even rival Shadow Moltres in DPS. While Shadow Staraptor is lacking in Fighting-type resistance, being less advantageous against Grass-type and having less TDO overall, it is still the only top Flying-type Pokemon that does not rely on a legacy move to perform well in raid/gym battles.

Comment:
Bombirdier has a moderately high attack stats (198). Even though Shadow Magnezone can resists Bombirdier's moves well, it still struggles to defeat Bombirdier because of its high stats. In order to earn enough TDO, Shadow Magnezone has to resort on dodging all of Bombirdier's moves.
Shadow Magnezone is using Spark as its fast move. While Spark is not slow, it is still significantly harder to dodge fast moves perfectly compared to other faster moves like Fury Cutter and Dragon Breath. While Shadow Magnezone can afford taking some Rock Throw directly, it still needs to dodge a significant portion of them, which is the main challenge of this raid. The efficiency score is below average because of the higher difficulty on fast moves dodging using Spark.
