I tried playing on advanced difficulty solo yesterday, and I ended up losing every time despite going with T6 ships with better equipment than my T5-X Bortasqu' (equivalent to an upgraded T6 ship). Only my T5-X Bortasqu' Klingon Battlecruiser can survive advanced difficulty. The most extreme difficulty is elite which is one level up than advanced.
It's very hard to kill this Bortasqu'. Very hard. It has many tricks up its sleeve.
In PvE (cooperative) mode, you can get away playing on Advanced Difficulty since you are likely to get carried by your strong teammates, but SOLO, your ship has to carry itself. This Bortasqu' can. My other ships from other captains can't.
