How to Enter:
To enter the contest, participants must be present in the chat of the Gamesodes live stream and clearly indicate interest in participation. Participants must also have the ability to contact Gamesodes via Steam to verify identity in the case of winning the contest.
About the Contest:
During the Gamesodes live stream, Dynasty challenge levels will be played. Participants will suggest unit combinations that they think can beat the level. Each participant’s army will be played for each level. If the suggested army beats the level the participant will earn a point. At the conclusion of regulation levels, the participant with the most points will be declared the winner. If there is a tie after the conclusion of the regulation levels, then sudden death levels will settle the tie. Winner will receive a $5 Steam gift card.
Rules:
In addition to adhering to Gamesodes’ chat rules and regulations, participants must follow the following rules while competing.
1.) Each participant will only be allowed one entry per round
2.) The entry will not be considered if it is not within the allotted points for the level
3.) The participant should describe where units should be placed; otherwise I will place units in order of how they were typed in the chat.
4.) The stream is scheduled for 2 hours and will be no longer than 2.5 hours. This being said, if time is running out I may call an end to regulation time, and start the sudden death levels.
a. The number of regulation levels will be determined after the number of participants are counted and one full round has been completed. This will serve as a gauge of how long each level will take.
5.) If a tie remains too long during sudden death, or Dynasty challenges run out, participants who are tied for points will be allowed to suggest a 10,000 point army to fight in the sandbox. Winner of the battle wins the prize. If there are more than 2 tied participants, a double elimination style tournament will be held.
6.) If time runs out before the tie breaker can be determined, I may post a video of the tie breaker in the future or continue the tie breaker in the next live stream.
7.) The contest holder (Gamesodes) reserves the right to end the contest at any time and adjust the rules.
8.) Once a winner is determined, they must verify their identity through Steam.
a. The winner must state their Steam name they will be using to reach me in the live stream chat so that it is clear to me who must be accepted and contacted.
b. I will send a direct message through Steam to the winner containing a code.
c. The winner will type that code in the chat to verify their account.
d. The winner will receive the gift card through Steam.
