Tactical Games Course: 1. Why you shouldn't play such games at all [Summary in Description]

You can try and read my lyrics off of this paper before I lay 'em
But you won't take the sting out these words before I say 'em: Eminem
Why you shouldn't play online multiplayer games like CS/Valorant
1) Cheaters and smurfs will ruin all your games. The real cheaters are hard to detect.
2) If you base your happiness around winning a game, remember at all levels win % is 50.
3) After a certain rank level, you will get stuck due to cheaters/smurfs and just not having a good team mainly and unless you can find friends to play them with.
4) Spending money in-game is the reason everything is so flashy and addicting.
5) They target dopamine responses with everything and the addiction of these games are very very high, sometimes to the level of drugs.
6) The main thing: The amount of hours you put in these games to even be average can be used to learn something else maybe a game in real life.
7) Your skill depends on how stable your internet connection is and do you have a better ping advantage then the person on the other end and of course a better PC will bring your performance way up just with a higher refresh rate monitor.
In game time is accurate even if you're sitting there, you are giving up your time.
8) Clips you see online never tell you the whole story like their low health, team helps or plain old taking a small clip out of a whole match or clipping only the good parts together like facebook.
Or the enemy team making a crucial mistake or timing
9) The more you play these games the more you want to watch the games in a stream or youtube videos or something. The more you watch the ads or the sponsors, remember not blatant ads, ads in disguise, a little hint here a little talk there.
What you put in you will become a part of you.
10) With so many things wrong with the game, you start looking for videos where cheaters are banned or someone who did something wrong and other people roasting him and that's what you start feeding yourself and it becomes part of you.
11) The only way you get to be good at such games if you spend a lot of time, critical time out of your life in these games and the happiness to hours spent in this game is very very low.
12) One round you guys are having fun, the next the enemy team.
Alternative: Co/op games that you can play with friends or games in the same list that you can play vs. bots instead of vs. other people. PVE only NOT PVP assuming you can't play anything other than FPS games.
Or single player games, even single player FPS games can be quite amazing and they can be finished within a few hours.
If you crave learning a skill, there are so many games which are skill-based instead of hour based like Sekiro and Dirt Rally. These are amazingly difficult games and you will feel that time spent in the game as something to remember it.
Adventure and story based games you will also remember. There are so so many alternatives to choose from but chose a game where you aren't fighting other players.
The best games I like to play is console games that are completely offline
If streaming, stay away from Nintendo.
or with netplay
