Take Control with the BIG 6 from Retro-Bit!
42There's something to be said for the original three button controller for the Sega Genesis - the size and shape were excellent, but as games evolved, the lack of extra buttons really hurt. Eventually, we got the Six Button controller, but while the necessary extra button functionality was added, the controller got smaller.
Today, Retro-Bit is making the Goldilocks controller - combining the best of both worlds with the size of the original three button controller, and adding the extra functionality of the six button into one perfectly pleasing input device: The Big 6.
Featuring a familiar form factor, the Big 6 takes that wide berth initially introduced with the OG three, adds the X Y Z buttons, and slides that Start/Mode button over to be easier to press by placing it along the top of the button area - but makes it flush with the controller body, so you won't accidentally press Start.
There's three SKUs for this controller. First, there's a standard Sega Genesis/Sega CD port with the classic pin layout that you can use with your consoles that support a regular Genesis or Mega Drive input. Second, a wired USB controller that can be used with PC, Mac, Switch, RetroPie, Genesis Mini, and other USB supported devices. And finally, a 2.4ghz Wireless Controller, that has both a USB dongle as well as a Genesis pin dongle, making it the ultimate in Genesis Controller Technology.
