Taken Alive? Dead? Which Would You Prefer? - Resident Evil Village Playthrough
3On todays Episode of the Resident Evil Village Playthrough, we are Continuing the Search for little Rose after being Captured by Lady Dimitrescu and her Three Daughters! Although it of course Wasn't the Last we See of them! In fact, we Run into one of the Daughters (And then Run Away From!) a little Further into the Game! As well as Discovering the Wine Tasting Area, and some New Enemies! This new Area kind of Reminds me of Skyrim, because of the Sword Wielding Vampires, But maybe a bit more Fun than Skyrim! Or at least I think so at least! Although, do we Find Rose? Or do we just get Even More Lost in this Giant Castle? Come Find Out!
And as I mentioned Above, we are starting the Episode off just after getting ourselves down from some Hooks Last Week when we were Caught by the Three Sisters and taken to Lady Dimitrescu! Now the Mission is, to Escape and (Hopefully) Find little Baby Rose! Although I really don't think it'll be that Easy, Do You? Let me know in the Comments if you think we'll Even Find Rose! First though, we have to find a way Out and back to the Hall Of The Four! And in finding out way Back to that hall, we also Find a Maroon Eye Ring! Which we can use Later to Help get into Another Area!
Of course Ethan finds his way back to the Hall Of The Four, Very Easily and we take a trip to the Merchant's Room to see if the Duke is there! And he Is there, but not just that, he also has some Words of Wisdom for Ethan! He mentions Rose, and that if she were to be Anywhere in this Castle, then it Must be in Lady Dimitrescu's Private Chambers! But is he just Working for them and laying a Trap for Ethan? Or could there be some Truth in his Words? Well there's only One way to Figure that out isn't there? To try and Find Lady Dimitrescu's Private Chambers! Which takes us to the Upper levels of the Castle, well to Search for them anyway, there's No Guarantee we Find them!
Along the way, Ethan Unlocks some More Doors and finds Plenty of Collectibles all over the Place, like those Crystal Fragments, as well as a Cup that looks like Blood was Drank from it, it's pretty Gruesome! And upstairs with the Door with the Eye Missing? Is where the Maroon Eye Ring comes in, we have to use the Maroon Eye to Open this Door! And just as I was about to Compliment the Lovely Décor of the Hallway we just Entered, a Lovely Swarm of Flies appears! And Flies even come out of Ethan's HAND! What is even going on in this Game? Although, I Absolutely Love how Strange it is of course! But just as Quickly as this Lord of the Flies appears, Ethan Zooms away like the Road Runner and doesn't even give her a Chance to Cut open her First Man she's had in a "While" Apparently! Too bad for her!
Although it's not all Good for Ethan either! He may have Escaped one Horror, but now he's Trapped in what seems like a Skyrim Dungeon! Or Dark Souls (But way Easier), take your Pick! And I only think it's kind of like Skyrim because there's Vampires (Or at least I think they're Vampires? I'm Not 100% on that one Yet!), that Wield Swords and Wear Robes, they just look like some of the Enemies from Skyrim I think! There's even one with a Giant Axe, that I can't Steal and I can't say I'm Not 100% Disappointed in that really! But there's also a good bit of Treasure down in these Dungeons too though, as well as Very Little Light, and the Music is Suspenseful!
So although todays Episode wasn't as Fun as Last Weeks was, we Still Might have a Lead on Rose, and we even Discovered a New Type of Enemy today, so it's Not All Bad! And even though it was Extremely Dark in those Dungeons? They were Very Atmospheric and really Set a Prime Example of what kind of "people" these Vampires really are, because it seems like there was a Lot of Torture and Experiments going on in here at one point! It's also pretty Grim, but is Really helping to Paint a Picture for the Game, and again, I'm Loving that aspect of it!
And of course I really Hope that you are Loving this as much as I am! I know there wasn't Lots of Action in this Episode, and Ethan was way too Quick for one of the Daughters to even See him in the first place, today was maybe more about Setting some of the Scenes and Backgrounds of some of the Characters! Or they're just Showing off their Lovely Environments, either way? I know I'm Really Excited for the Next Episode! Where I have a Crazy feeling that something Big is going to Happen when Ethan tries to Escape the Dungeons! So Stay Tuned until then Troops to see if my Feelings were Correct, or if I was just being Paranoid!
