I'd Harvest Your Organs First But We Don't Have Time! - Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition Playthrough
3Today on the Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition Playthrough, Shepard goes to Investigate a Strange Signal that leads her Directly into the Nest of a Thresher Maw! And not just Any Thresher Maw, the New and Improved Legendary Edition Thresher Maw where Bioware apparently gave them a Crap Tone of Steroids or something! These things are Relentless these days! Not just that though, we go get back some Family Armor for Wrex and Take down a Doctor that Grows Organs INSIDE people for Garrus! It's a Day of Helping the Bois!
To start us off though, we begin back at the Normandy just before going off to Investigate the Strange Signal coming from a Planet in the Artemis Tau System! Although I should maybe put in a Warning, that I do talk about doing Another Mission at the Beginning of the game, I was going to Fight some Crime Lords, but since I got the option for Garrus's Mission, I Obviously wanted to Help my Boy instead of some Old Lady! So after I'm done talking about what's on Todays Agenda, I take Shepard and the Crew to the Planet Edolus! This is the planet with the Strange Signal that Joker warned Shepard about when we were going to get Liara!
Although this isn't just Any signal, when Wrex, Garrus and Shepard get to the Signal, they realise it's a Trap! And a Very Big Trap! Someone placed a Distress Beacon inside a Thresher Maw's Nest! And if you Don't know what a Thresher Maw is? Then come and Watch this Video, as I of course, Run away from that Thresher Maw! Now as I mentioned above, in the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect, it seems like they've Pumped the Maw's with all sorts of Steroids because they were Angry before, but Now? Now they just want Everything Dead! And they even have little Tentacles to Distract you when it's Under the Ground Chasing you! And in the Original games, it didn't feel like they Chased you for that Long, but now? It seems like they Won't Stop Until they have Consumed the Entire Mako! As Scary as it can be though, it also gets that Adrenaline going! Let me know in the Comments Below what you think about the New and Improved Thresher Maws!
Then after the Thresher Maw Horror, we take the Team to go and get Wrex's Family Armor! It's the only thing he has Left of his Family, and you get the Impression he doesn't even Really Care about it in the First place, but since Shepard Loves Wrex (Or at least I do!), she has Decided that of Course she's going to Help Wrex Retrieve the Armor from this Turian guy! Although before going to the Actual Planet where the Armor is, I Mistakenly take us to the Wrong Planet, and one I've already Been to! But don't Worry, I Cut all the Boring Parts out of that, so I don't Waste More Time getting to the Correct Planet! Now, Wrex's Armor was taken by a Turian that Collects Relics from the Krogan Rebellion Wars, and if you're Not aware, the Krogan Hate the Turians, so the Fact that he Has his Families Armor is Just Insulting to him! There's No way we can have that!
Doing this Mission was Worth it alone to Hear Wrex say that Shepard is Growing on him! There's a Beautiful Friendship budding there, so Come along to see it Unfold! And doing this Mission, Unlocked the Mission that Garrus gives us! Although we actually Hear him talk about the Salarian that he wants to go After, a Dr Saleon! And this guy is Horrible! He Grew Organs and Parts INSIDE People! So of Course, Shepard has to Help Garrus put an End to his Work! This is Very Personal for Garrus, so this is just another Stepping Stone in the Friendship of Garrus and Shepard!
That's the Mission I take you to after getting back from Wrex's Mission, and I'm not wanting to Tell you all Everything about the Missions, so these are just Small Summaries of course! But it's definitely Worth coming to See Garrus and Wrex become Shepard's Best Friends with the Help of some Armor and Killing Doctors! So I really Hope you Enjoy this Episode, I know I am Loving the Playthrough, but I just absolutely Love Mass Effect! I hope that's the Same for you Of course!
