Taking a Nostalgic Trip with Ocarina of Time
527A game that laid down the fundamentals of the Zelda series and really gaming as a whole. Come take a trip with me back in time to look at this game from my point of view and see if it still holds up.
Spoiler, it does, but in ways that are more about its legacy rather than what it is as a package. Ocarina of Time is a monolith in the world of gaming and is the masterpiece it was always meant to be, and will continue to be. Its creation laid down the basic 3d action adventure structure that many of todays games have used, whether they know it or not.
