Tales of Arise: Fix Gamepad Not Working, Fix Controller Issue with Tales of Arise On PC
Step 1) Close Tales of Arise and restart Steam
Step 2) Opt Out of The Steam Beta and restart Steam
Step 3) Enable Steam Input
step 4) If you're using multiple Steam Library folders then go to Settings / Downloads / Steam Library Folders/ Add Library Folder and point Steam to your games.
Step 5) a. Go into Tales of Arise Setting and look for "Steam controller settings".
b. Once it opens the Steam Input tab, go to the button, where it says "Browse configs"
c. Then, go when it says community and click (or push Y) where it says "Show other controller types"
d. Accept the warning and then go for the one that says "Official controller config".
e. Apply the new configuration by clicking apply.
f. Restart the game

Step 6) Configure your controller in big picture mode
Step 7) Move the game to Steam's default installation folder
Step 8) Disconnect and reconnect the Controller
Step 9) Disconnect additional joystick, HOTAS throttle and stick, disconnect all external USB devices
