This battle is...annoying. Failbum is weak to Earth and Light, so I have to use Leon or Philia, both of whom die as soon as anything sneezes on them. And since Failbum is using Igtenos (most worthless Swordian ever), his attacks are wind-elemental, shredding through Leon's paper defenses. The dragon is just there to annoy you further. Gale Cutter is unavoidable outside of i-frames, while Napalm Fire has a deceptive hitbox. It doesn't seem like there's any pattern as to where he'll decide to strike next, so I have to keep an eye on him.

Given the above, I went with Philia, mostly cause I didn't care to deal with Leon's abysmally low minimum CC. Physical slots are once again sacrificed for spells to rack up damage, with Snipe Air thrown in for the weakness boost. Spells have to be cast at opportune times, since Trollbum's pseudo-Gale Fang is almost instant and rather difficult to react to, not to mention it lets him slide across the field depending on the distance between him and Rutee. Escape Air gives me the i-frames I need for when the dragon drops by. Tidal Wave is there because Philia's biggest fan asked for it. And cause it hits like a truck, even though I can't see the dragon.

I think I'll be taking a break for now, since the first half of the game is done. Zestiria should come in within the following weeks, depending on how much Japan hates me and I have to study too.
