First real boss! Even though this video is almost just as short, Undine was a lot trickier than Insect Plant. She had a lot more tricks up her sleeve, most of which will break your guard. Basically, Undine will always try to do an action. Most frequently she does one of three: a rushing double lunge, a mostly stationary triple stab, or Spear of Baptism. The double lunge is the most frequent, so a good strategy is to get her to do it, jump in the direction she's going, land a hit, and repeat. The only time this won't really work in your favor is if she does Spear of Baptism, or a spell. The Spear can probably be blocked anyway, and she rarely uses spells when you're up in her face, so overall this is a solid strategy. When she takes enough damage she can use a new move, and her AI favors Spear of Baptism more, so in that phase it's a lot smarter to jump behind her and punish afterwards. This entire fight is like a dance, and my newly learned Eagle Dive definitely helps if I make a mistake. A fun match overall that definitely got a major boost with that lucky poison I got near the end.
