Kinda surprised at how smoothly this went. This battle was insanely difficult for me when playing through the game normally, but he went down rather quick here.

The most annoying part of Volt is his contact damage. Similar to Efreet, touching Volt will cause damage. It doesn't seem to be constant; I think it goes away when he's in hitstun but I'm really not sure. Because of this Eagle Rage is the way to go; not only can you initiate a combo without touching Volt, but the first two shots are also Water Element, which he is very weak to.

Dodging his attacks is kind of difficult. There's a kind of mix-up with his two normal moves: the lightning sweep and the lightning bolts. You can either run or Mirage through the lightning bolts, and you can jump over the sweep. You can Mirage the sweep, but that move has a more lingering hitbox, so it's possible you can get hit after it anyway. It takes some reaction but it's pretty fun. Wheb his health gets low then he can use this weird spike attack. That move is devastating, as he always combos it into a Spark Wave. So avoid that.

His spells aren't too bad. Lightning takes a guess but it doesn't do much damage. Lightning Blade and Indignation are a joke. Spark Wave requires you to be running as the spell is being cast, and then you have to Mirage at the last second. It's finicky but worth it, since Spark Wave does a lot of damage and can actually combo into itself.

Also I opted from using Maximum Burst too much in this fight since it makes Volt do Family Reunion which is... annoying.
