Well...you're pretty much forced to no items no death it, so I had to come up with another challenge (not that it mattered much anyway lol)

So I saved the best for last, this cameo fight is also very fun to do. I mean compared to Sekundes, this fight is easy as long as you learned to read Cless and Arche's AI script. Arche only appears as backup support for Cless in Hard and Mania (Hardcore) difficulties. Proper way to handle her (as well as Cless) is to use Hououtenku + Hiou Zetsuenshou, Kogarenzan or Rekkuzan along with some jump slashing. It's pretty pathetic that I didnt Hi Ougi finished either of them, but in retrospect I found it somewhat hilarious how Reid just sword slaps them into a KO.

Just like Valkyrie, the key to victory is to understand proper positioning. Since Arche's loves to cast AoE spells like Eruption, Indignation and Spark Wave, you have to make sure you either Rekkuzan or Hououtenku out of your way for them. Of course there's Cless and he's kinda tricky to try to simply jump over him since he can catch you with his upward slash but it's all about baiting here.

Cless himself can be a cheating little fucker because he tends to Majinken lock you whenever you're in good distance from him (especially when you're trying to evade spells) so the best way I found to handle his spam is to slowly guard every hit while moving forward and when you're close enough, wait for him to pull another Majinken then quickly jump slash him and use a combo or Senkuu Shoureppa to blow him away.

Hououtenku makes this fight....so freaking easy. I'm not exaggerating here, half of the time I got tempted to spam that arte along with it's Hi Ougi extension to cheese my way out of the fight. But once you get Cless's HP down to low levels (btw...why the hell is he the only target that conveniently shows his HP on screen? What the fuck Eternia!? That information could've been useful 99% of the rest of the game!) he'll use his Jigenzan....does he have his other Time artes? Anyway he gets more aggressive at this part and it becomes even trickier to try to close in on him since he gets counter heavy as well as he'll likely counter with his Meikuu Zanshouken Hi Ougi.

But alas it all comes down to baiting and with THAT!....I'm done with all the EX bosses.Yes...sadly I cant do the EX Dungeon because I'm on my first playthrough, but for anyone who stayed and watched this little project I hope you enjoyed every minute of it.
