Amazing Ampharos: Sylph is another interesting low level boss; we do this one at level 14. We have Ras's AI set to use a lot of Dragon Swarm (his best arte by far) and to target flying enemies so he goes after Sylph and disrupts casts as often as possible. The two of us try to rush the minions (who have very low defense) as best we can while just praying that Sylph doesn't decide to kill us with either Air Thrust or Cyclone. If we survive to Sylph alone, it's still tricky as Sylph just runs away with teleports while shooting fairly powerful arrows and casting very fatal spells though we do have a nice Undine summon we got consistently in the middle of the fight to make sure our party is healthy for the second segment of the fight (and conveniently, Spread isn't very useful against Sylph alone so after the Undine summon is a good time to switch Meredy to Grave duty). My partner had the honestly pretty decent idea to switch to semi-auto for this fight so the internal AI would keep track of Sylph's crazy teleports for him; I just kinda jumped around a lot focusing more on spell disruption than damage output. Ras was really very helpful even though his attack stat is awful; I wish we could keep him!
