0And now we face Gnome...
Gnome only has one attack and that is enough to induce annoyance to many. Why? Because throughout the duration of the attack Gnome is impervious to all forms of damage.
Anyway, the said attack consists of it burrowing underground and launching themselves upwards as missiles. It doesn't hurt much if you are decently levelled but you can't do much against them at this state. All you can do is to bide your time and wait until Gnome stops using this attack.
To damage Gnome, there is only a split second where you can damage it, namely when the four shadows on the ground merge together and all part parts of Gnome join together as one single entity for a moment, so when you see 4 shadows converging, get ready. I find any Sword Rain based attacks very useful in stunlocking Gnome so Spellcasters can get their attacks in for extra damage.
By the way, I recommend you all set spellcasters at no casting. As you can see in my video I made the mistake of not doing this and they wasted their MPs for nothing when Gnome is still invulnerable.
Once we're done we take a quick break in Belladem before returning to Alvanista.
