In Tales of Phantasia, robots are usually the easiest type of enemies to defeat. With many exploitable weaknesses and a slow mobility factor, they're never threatening. Even with a team of casters you'll win. This boss is no different. Of course, if you stand around they can really devastate your party. Arche at this point is an amazing caster, God Breath tears the field up.
