Did this for fun since I haven't played Guy since 2010 or so lmao. I definitely could have played more aggressive but this fight is pretty hard so I don't mind too much.



Game Modifications:
-Set Guy's P. ATK stat to 1600
-Made it so I don't need the Jewel of Gardios to use Brilliant Overlord
-Used an encounter modifier code to fight Sync & Largo

Strategy:
A good arte for this fight is Void Tempest. I need it in order to deal with both Sync and Largo. It's good against Sync because it's a good way to stagger him and I can even use it to counter his advance as long as I don't mistime it. For Largo, I can use Severing Wind into Void Tempest to use Dragon Tempest. If I use it as he's approaching, I can stagger him for free as long as he doesn't block it.

Something I noticed about Sync is that if I hit him with Void Tempest during his taunt, he may respond with his guard counter: Reaper's Toll. I never even knew this could happen since I didn't have to deal with it at all in my Jade run (probably because Jade can't do a lot of hits quickly like Guy can).

During the fight, I want to keep the two of them separated if possible. If they're close to each other, it is very difficult to hit Sync because the hitboxes on Largo's attacks are incredibly large. The optimal position to fight these guys is to have Largo in front of Sync so I can jump over Largo to get into a position where I can attack Sync. Something to keep note of is how much time I'm going to have to attack Sync. If Largo does his three hit combo into Beast as I jump over him, I have a lot of time to attack. If Largo does a two hit combo or just a stand-alone beast, I won't have a lot of time to attack. I have to listen to what combo he's doing since I usually can't see him on screen after jumping over him.

When Sync gets around 20,000 HP, he'll use his Mystic Artes. I can bait these by using Void Tempest to stagger him and then running away.

After Sync goes down, I use Dragon Tempest to start combos on Largo. Once I get him low enough, I finish him off with Brilliant Overlord.
