Felt like I needed to practice playing on controller after the trio video (I have been playing Abyss on keyboard for a long time now) so I did this solo as training :p

Game Modifications:
-Set P. ATK and F. ATK to 6000

Strategy:
Playing Tear is actually quite a bit different from Jade. Her spells are considerably smaller in terms of AOE which means that I have to aim my spells well. Luckily, with Enhance Cast, Tear casts much faster than Jade which means she gets a lot more windows to cast.

In the fight, my first goal is to cast Enhance Cast. I generally get a window to cast this after I run away from one of his spells. There are two spells I'll primarily use in this fight: Eclair de Larmes and Holy Lance. When I get a window to use a spell (after a long combo or a spell from Sync), I like to use Holy Lance aimed either near myself or a bit in front of me depending on my distance from Sync. Basically, I aim it where I think Sync will be stopping to attack me. If Sync casts a spell instead of moving towards me, I can try and convert the missed Holy Lance into a Flamme Rogue by using Eclair de Larmes on the FoF field it leaves behind. I can also use the ground FoF field left behind by Ground Dasher to use Cluster Raid.

A good melee arte for Tear is Severed Fate. This is very good for following up Flamme Rouge and for poking when Sync isn't giving me good casting windows. I can even combo after this arte if it staggers Sync. If I spell-cancel run towards him after Severed Fate and then use basic attacks, I can continue the combo. I kind of failed most of my Severed Fate spell-cancels so I didn't get to show this off though :p

BGM:
Severe Blow from Trails of Cold Steel II
