Shredder’s back but as an undead zombie and the Turtles, April, Casey and their allies must now find a way to stop Kavaxas once and for all. What follows is an action packed episode full of intensity with an ending that is satisfying and emotional.
For some reason most of the episode pays nod to Ghostbusters and it’s done well. Yet popcorn machines power their version of the Proton Packs. You serious? We also now of Kavaxas’ true plans and it’s to merge the living world and the Netherealm. Scary. Speaking of which, this episode marks the last appearance of Kavaxas, Tiger Claw, Splinter, Tatsu, Rahzar and that Ho guy. I forgot. The episode felt satisfying at the end with Splinter saying his goodbyes and passing on. Truly emotional and to anyone that felt bad when Splinter died, this is satisfying.
When we’ll get new episodes, I don’t know. Hopefully when that happens, the reviews will continue.
