05:08 – Daqo Chisay Shrine
This is two fold because it’s all to gear up for the third Divine Beast. Up first is Gerudo Town. But men aren’t allowed so you need a disguise. Head back to the bazaar and you’ll find a Gerudo who will sell you an outfit for 600 rupees. Buy the outfit and then you have access into Gerudo Town. Use it to stock up in case.
But our focus now is to meet up with Riju, the head of the Gerudo and she tells us that we must get the Thunder Helm. It’s needed in order for us to reach Divine Beast Vah Naboris. Only problem, it’s at the Yiga Clan Hideout. Get a sand seal and then head up north to where the hideout is. Once you are in the hideout, this is where the Metal Gear mentality comes in. If you get caught, you’re screwed. The Yiga like bananas and there are plenty of them. Use them to drive away Yiga mooks and then Sneakstrike them.
Eventually you’ll reach a point where the head of the Yiga appears, Master Kohga. The fight isn’t that difficult. You just need to force him to get hit by his own attacks. It’s a flat out jerk but eventually he gets his comeuppance. Open the chest and get the Thunder Helm then head back to Gerudo Town and provide it to Riju. You’ll get a flashback scene with Urbosa, Gerudo Champion and you’re set.
Part 25… we head for the third divine beast, Vah Naboris.
