Tamiya TT-01 - Run Video #9 (2S LiPo) Not Surprising
3In this ninth, and FINAL, video I replaced the burnt out motor (again) and installed some cheapo Chinese alloy oil shocks. I did install a Traxxas TQi receiver, but I took that out and replaced it with my normal Core-RC receiver.
I dropped the pinion to 25T from 29T as I believe that was the cause of all my motors burning out. However, as you'll see in this video, it seems as though even 25T is too much. I've decided to convert this TT-01 to brushless instead. It'll be more expensive than buying brushed motors, but at least it shouldn't keep frying itself.
I will continue to make these videos, using alternate bodies and wheels (when possible), I have plans to acquire a few body shells in the future.
