This is a game I made in RPG Maker XP. The story and characters are based on an idea I came up with on the spot for 24 hour comic day many years ago. That particular idea was the most "RPG adjacent" so I thought I'd make a cool little micro RPG that could be completed in about an hour. I thought it might take me a month or 2 to make. I ended up working on it for a little over a year, and just gave up after a fatal game error would require me to remake the entire game from scratch.
I learned so much and it was an interesting experience, but I think from now on I'll stick to the art side of things and let someone else handle the programming the next time I want to dip my toe into game design.
