Tanzer is an action platformer / SHMUP hybrid launched for the Sega Mega Drive / Sega Genesis in 2019. The game was inspired by titles like Strider and Hagane, but plays vastly different from them. It's one of the most unique games for the console and I really recommend checking it out. It really is kind of amazing how there are new Sega Genesis Games in 2019.
