Today I'll talk about gathering resources. Which resources and where to find them. What you need and where to start.
First, I want to say that in Tarisland, there's no best or worst job. All jobs are important, and they're connected in some way. So, like I've said in my streams, when you start your journey, you need to decide which job to learn first and which resources to gather. Switching jobs costs money, and more importantly, it takes time. Changing some jobs has cooldowns of several days, or even a week.
I enjoy improving and enchanting my gear in all games. So, here, I always pick a job that lets me do that. That's why I chose Alchemy – to be able to create enchanting scrolls that are essential for gear upgrades. But, like I said before, to make these scrolls, I need resources from the Weaving job and the Artisan job. So, I find a video on my channel about the Alchemy crafting list (I'll leave a link in the description) and see what resources I need for these scrolls. I see that I'll need Herbal Linen and Cooper Sand. But I can't gather all these resources at the same time because they come from different jobs. So, first, I choose Tailoring and gather Herbal Linen.
Now, with these resources, I can freely switch to Alchemy and add the necessary flowers to create different enchanting scrolls for gear. So, while I gather flowers, make scrolls, and elixirs, the timer for switching between the Tailor and Artisan jobs keeps getting shorter.
Now I'd like to explain more about gathering resources. What you need for better resource collection, getting higher-quality resources, and where to find them.
To gather any resource in Tarisland, you'll need three points of Vigor.
We've covered where and how to gather and how to obtain higher-quality resources. Now, I'll tell you about additional rewards for gathering resources and how to maximize crafting efficiency.
Now, let's talk about how to maximize your chances of getting gear, materials, resources, and everything else when crafting in Tarisland. When crafting, you'll receive not only the crafting result and profession points but also Artisan Power. When you reach three hundred Artisan Power, you'll receive Artisan Spirit. Artisan Spirit provides a huge boost to crafting any gear, material, or craftable item in Tarisland.
